School's Closed!

What a mess!  We have about 3 inches of snow with freezing rain and sleet on top.  The plowman is having a dispute with the landlord because he hasn't been paid and has not plowed yet.  I hope I can get out to go to work, but I am afraid I may get stuck.  Last thing I want is to have my car stuck in the trailer park roadway and no way to get out.  School is closed today and I don't blame them.  Sarah spent the night at her Grandmother's so I don't have to worry about driving her.  I feel so bad for the folks in the southern states with tornadoes.  My heart goes out to those who lost their lives, homes etc...  God Bless them.

My mask did not win.  I guess someone had a more "original" one.  She wrapped a garter around her eyeglasses.  I had ostrich feathers on mine, but one other lady has some too.  Oh well, it was fun anyhow.  Today is the Mardi-gras parade for the residents.  I hope the weather isn't so bad that they have to cancel it for lack of staff.  I am going to have my little Logan tomorrow!

He is going to be 1 next month!  Hoping to find something fun for us to do together.  Sarah has a mentoring party to go to and her father is refusing to answer me if she can go or not and he visit her Sunday.  He is a jerk.  Not letting her go to a party just for his own selfishness.  Oh well, this will all be straightened out soon.

Here is a pretty winter tag from Donna of D's Designs:

Sorry you still have snow falling, it's getting late for it now. Dave seems bent on trying to be a complete jerk, not fair to take it out on your kids. Have a good weekend and I hope the parade could still go on! Jeannette xx

Those were horrific storms that came through Alabama yesterday.  One of my closest friends has family in Enterprise, where the tornado hit.  I have not heard from her as of yet how her family is.  Enterprise is about 130 miles SW of where I live.  My heart goes out to those families too!

Sounds like you have some messy weather up your way!

Be Safe!  Stay warm!

Blessings!~
