Day at the Museum

Hello from upstate NY again!  Dave, the kids and I went to the New York State museum in Albany finally!  Parking was a nightmare and we ended up at the Times Union center parking garage and had to pay $8.  We had to walk quite a ways to the museum as you can see by photo one its up there in that plaza complex.  Sarah was running all over there and we really didn't get much chance to LOOK at anything due to chasing her around.  Luckily, I have been there many times before.  They have a very somber 9/11 display with several artifacts taken from the site itself.

We have a little snow storm going through and are expecting about 3 inches.  Its a heavy, wet snow and the kids are out playing in the snowbanks.  Not much else for news.  My Ex sprung a surprise on me.  He has been dating this woman Jody for a couple months and has told me he is going to buy a house with her in the spring.

Another slap in the face for me...  He wants to dispose of our old home now and wants to know what we should do with it.  Its a mobile home but we owe on it still.  If he actually manages to do this, I may move into that one and sell the one I have right now.  The other one is larger, but in rougher shape because he never did any upkeep.  Its funny how after 12 years of abuse with me, he can have such a "wonderful" new relationship with someone else.  He must really be pulling the wool over her eyes.  I hate him....

Anyway, in the news there are interesting things going on.  Anna Nicole Smith - I agree with the judge with the disposal of her body.  IRAN - I think we are going to war with them soon...   Prince Harry going to Iraq.  Bravo to him.  He is a brave young man and very loyal to his country and sets a great example.  He certainly is Prince material.   Thats it for me in this neck of the woods.  Thanks to D's Designs for following graphic.  Link on right!

Those 9/11 artefacts were really gruesome. It's so sad to see. It'd be good to get your old home back, maybe your new Dave would help do it up with you. I hope the snow doesn't get too bad! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Makes me ache to see all that 911 stuff. You got some good photos today. The exes new girlfriend doesn't realise what is in store for her. You are the lucky one. Hope you don't get to much snow. Good luck to you whatever you decide to do about the mobile homes. Helen

At least Sarah enjoyed herself.  ;o)  You can be ex isn't showing his true colors around her yet.  I agree with you on all three points in the news.  -  BArbara
