Bad girls

These two have been causing alot of trouble lately.  Yesterday, they picked all my jalepenos and chopped them up and buried them.  I could hear Isabelle (friend) out there laughing hysterically and every time I looked out, it just looked like they were playing in the dirt.  It wasn't until later that I found out they picked about 15 of my peppers, leaving only one left and destroyed them.  I think Isabelle is the ringleader and Sarah won't stand up and say no.  I told Sarah that Isabelle isn't going to be allowed to play in the front yard anymore.

Sarah makes enough messes of her own.  "Cooking" in the kitchen and putting different foods together and then adding soap etc... Leaves a mess for me to clean up after.

Now she was just in the bathroom spraying the cat with perfume.  She cut his hair earlier this week.  She is out of hand... Help me!

Ohhhhhh  I don't know what to tell you.  Sounds like an age thing.. but that other little girl needs to keep her hands off things that aren't hers!

Linda, it's your house, your yard, speak to the girls together, set down the rules, whatever you do, don't tell your daughter to tell her friend, she won't and that's how they learn to keep secrets from you, so tell them together, it's both of their faults, anyway it isn't the end of the world, but it's the little things that grow into bigger things, so nip it in the bud and forget it.  love ya, gg/Jackie

get them both together and tell them what they did was wrong. then tell them they can't see each other for a while. and when they do it will be supervized because they can't be trusted. i had to do this with my daughter and her friends. the one so called friend got amanda to steal money out of my purse. Good Luck

I'm with Deb! Only I would include Isabel's Mom in the conversation. Let both girls know they where grounded from one another until they could respect you and your property. If this continues, I would seriously reconsider telling Sarah she needs to find other friends , Isabelle isn't allowed around anymore! (Hugs) Indigo

It sounds like you have your hands full, I believe I would keep them apart for a little.  I do love the picture though - it is quite cute!

Maybe you could spend a few hours shadowing them (against their will if necessary). That may take the edge out of the terror, reveal some of the mischief they are up to, and you would get to know the ocassional secret.
Then try to keep them busy for a while with something less harmful, though it could still be exciting.
Regarding the bad deeds already done. I hope it will work out to take some time explaining there is a reason certain things are the way they are, and showing what the destoyed things mean to someone else. That grownups really have a soft side, and feelings that may be hurt.
Well I am childless, so what would I know anyway...

Sounds like little Sarah is bored and looking for adventure anywhere she can find it.  It's got to be hard to stay mad at those adorable faces!!  But you still need to be firm.  God grant you wisdom as you go!  -  BArbara

Lucky for them they didn't rub their eyes after handling those peppers. They do look full of mischief in the picture but they are cute. See I can say that now that mine are grown. Paula

OMGosh I can't believe that they did that. Hey I just realized I wasn't getting alerts from you because I never got any of these.
Take care, Chrissie
