Animal Kingdom

I think I have too many animals in this house.  Three cats and a puppy.  The day started out with Daisy chasing and tackling Tarzan on the floor.  She then started in teasing Tiger who sat and growled at every animal who came near him.  Now its Brownie's turn.  I think she enjoys sparring with Daisy.  She actually sits right above her and growls at Daisy and bats at her when she gets too close.  Instead of retreating she engages in the battle.  Daisy of course being a silly puppy, gets all exciting and rolls and barks and dances about teasing the cat.  Alot of people think I should get rid of the dog or a couple cats.  I am the type of person who thinks once you get an animal you are in for the long haul.  I get attached and feel like I'm giving away a child almost.  Then I would have to deal with the kids and their dramatics.  Actually, you know who I dread the opinion of most?  That awful girl at work who think she knows everything and acts like she does and always spouts nasty comments to me.  I don't know why I care.  She just acts so smug and superior about everything.  Well, time to go to work.  Have a nice day everyone...

Aw they will be alright. Animals have good days and bad days just like us people. Some days its like a zoo run amuck around here...other days..things run smooth as glass. Just the way it is. I try to take the bad with the good and remember its all worth it. :) Have a good day today. Kelly

I don't know why people have to voice an opinion like that; I'm sure you thought a little before you got each of the pets you have; I agree, I couldn't give up a pet and how could you choose one over the other? Just ignore what that girl at work says and do what's best for you and your family :)

enjoy the day

Your place sounds like mine some mornings...only I have a few more to deal with!  I couldn't give up any of my babies, wouldn't even think of it and I wouldn't care who said what to me about it.  I would tell them to mind their own business.  Don't worry about her, ignore her.

I am thinking Daisy will settle down some as she get a little older, right now she has playing on her mind. Never mind what people say just do what you want to. Hugs, Helen

I'm like you!  Once I have a pet, I'm in for the long haul.  They're not pets to me, they're family!

I could never part with a pet once I had bought it ~ they become family ~ love the antics your lot get up to and I love that little grapic ~ That person you work with obviously is really jealous of you and probably would love to have some pets of her own ~ Ignore her nasty remarks she is not worth bothering about :o) ~ Ally x

My brother has 3 cats and they have thier days when they just get on each others nerves.  The youngest one loves teasing and batting at the elder ones.  Must be Spring, they are getting goofy.

hugs,  Bethe

My little terrier Thumper loves Scruffy (our cat), the pit-has chased the cat, the cat refused to come in the house for 2 weeks, & has know decided that it is his house as well...and he dares Curly to come on.....

You nailed it... our pets are our children. It's near impossible to let one go once they claim your heart. Love the graphic, dogs leave paw prints on our hearts. So true! bea

Once she grows out of puppyhood a little, she will calm down.  Seems like a circus with animals around doesn't it?  There are days when I feel like all I'm doing is screaming no, stop that, put that down, don't eat that, don't poop there!  lol
