Two day vacation starts today!

Aol is really being horrible to me today.  Nothing is saving correctly in my files.  Grrrr.  I guess I'm going to have to switch to photobucket or something.  Anyhow!  Today the kids and I are going up to the Great Escape Lodge.  First however, I have to go get Private Duty lady up in the morning and give her a shower.  She gave me this nice little bathing suit.  It fits good except the back is very low cut and the straps feel like they will fall off.  So just as a precaution I'm bringing my old standby bathing suit!  I would hate to come out of the end of a waterslide with my top down to my waist!  LOL!  That will frighten the kiddies!  We got about 6 more inches of snow overnight yesterday.  I am ready to start cussin' over all this snow we are getting!  The snowbank in my driveway is bigger than I am!  I know all we need are a few warm days though and it will melt.  Ok I need to go get ready for our trip.  I will take pictures and a couple movies to share!  Linda

I am so sorry it is such a harsh winter.  I checked out the Great Escape...Opps, I mean Six Flags (I can't believe they sold out!!)  The place looks amazing.

I lived in on Fern Lake while I went to Adirondack Community College.  The lake is on the same road as the Water Park, I beleive, on the right as you go twards Bay Road.  Don't think I told you I lived in Glens Falls/Lake George for 10 yrs.  Worked for a Pediatrician in Glens Falls.

I snow skiied a lot at West Mt, Gore, Whiteface (mostly) and the Vermont Mts...Killington, Mt Snow, Pico Peak.  #2 Hubby & I had a motorcycle/snowmobile business on Bay Rd in Lake George.

Of course, the winters were hard up in the Mts.  We did whatever we could to decrease the boredom....skiied snowmobiled, went to the movies, out to dinner and the hockey games ::sigh::  Would you beleive I miss it? Loved being out in the cold, doing something physical, and going indoors to a nice warm fire & mulled cider.

A water park I am sure is a terrific welcome. (all we had was the local YMCA in GF-another story).  Looking forward to pics : )   ~Bethe
