The Mighty Hunter returns...

My friend Dave came back from hunting yesterday and he had 3 deer and a coyote.  One was a 4 pt buck and the other two were does.  His Dad got a button buck.  Here is Dave with his buck..

I was going to post all the pictures I took, but they are pretty gory and bother me.  I am not against hunting at all, I just don't like to see such beautiful animals dead on the ground.

I go back to the Dr. today about my shoulder.  I also have a sinus infection and am wondering if I should go to my regular Dr. about that or just give it a couple days.  We had snow this morning.  Here is a picture taken out my front window..

I broke down and let Tiger come in the house this morning.  He is sleeping on the couch.  I will have to get him up to the vets.  I just pray to God he doesn't have FIV or FLV.  I don't want it spread to my cats.  I know he has fleas, but I can deal with that.

wow, this reminded me of my dad.  He was an avid hunter.  I miss my dad.  And snow?  I can't believe it's snowing. It's so warm here in Fl.  Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  love, Shelly

The stretch of 278 coming into Rockmart stinks of death right now. I guess it is from everyone hunting and gutting the deer in the woods and leaving the guts there. If someone wants to hunt that is there business, I just dont understand it. Doesnt interest me in the least to get up in the dark and cold and go sit out in the woods and wait for a prey animal to come by so I can shoot it. To each his own. We sure have plenty of folks around here that hunt. Ian doesnt and I am SO glad.

I am not against hunting if people will eat the meat or give it away for someone else to eat. Not the coyoto of course. I used to hunt myself but we always ate the meat. Hope you and you family have a Happy Thanksgiving. Helen
